MTB Marathon Vipava valley - 23 April 2017

We are pleased to announce second edition of MTB Marathon Vipava valley. Again, we have prepared 3 diverse trails around the Vipava Valley.

MTB Marathon 80

  • Early bird registration and payment by 31 March 2017: 25 €
  • Registration and payment by 23 April 2017: 30 €
  • Group registration (more than 10 competitors): 20 € per person

MTB Marathon 50

  • Early bird registration and payment by 31 March 2017: 20 €
  • Registration and payment by 23 April 2017: 25 €
  • Group registration (more than 10 competitors): 20 € per person

MTB Marathon 30

  • Early bird registration and payment by 31 March 2017: 15 €
  • Registration and payment by 23 April 2017: 20 €

MTB Marathon Vipava valley - changes

A large part of the Vipava Valley is protected natural area, including South slopes of the Trnovo forest.

To protect of our natural heritage and restrictions at protected areas, we have changed the course of the track MTB Marathon 80. The new version of the track runs along cart tracks just above the villages below Mount Čaven from Vrtovin, Kamnje, Stomaž, it crosses Slano blato (land slide) and joins the original trail on the asphalt road just below village Predmeja. There is also time limit for the participants at 7 p.m (19.00 h). The new track will be published on the website.

We have also changed the track of MTB Marathon 30. New MTB 30 trail is particularly suitable for families, for children older than 14 years. New MTB 30 is leisury bike ride, allowing you to get to know the beauty of the Vipava valley and good exercise at the same time.

MTB 50 and MTB 30 have changed trail upon arrival to Ajdovščina towards the finish. The important intersections will be marked and security staff will be presenet. Participants of the MTB Marathon Vipava valley are once again reminded that during the race all must comply with road traffic regulations.

Start times of the races have also been changed. Start will be at the Hiša mladih, Cesta IV. Prekomorske 61a, 5270 Ajdovščina.
